I would like to again thank you for the tremendous help that you so generously gave to our work. Certainly the type of situation in which we asked you to collaborate is one that would make most less
scientifically oriented and more insecure workers in this area refuse to participate. I have not seen all of the films yet but the sections which I have been able to view so far have come out very well. I rather think that you will be pleased with the results when you see them. Naturally I am most anxious to have your comments. We are in the throes of transcribing the material and you should be receiving it in a week or so.
I am enclosing a check covering your travel expenses and an embarrassingly token consultant’s fee.
I hope that the knowledge of the help you have given us will perhaps in part be a compensation for your investment of time and the very real loss of income that your trip intended.
